I'll ask around.\r\nWe can probably borrow a bunch of stuff that will work.\r\n\r\nDon't worry about makeup, weapons, wigs, helmets, or other accessories just\r\nyet. This is just the clothes.\r\n\r\nDo a Google Image search for LOTR Orcs, and LOTR Orc cosplay to get an idea\r\nof what we're going for. However, the actual costumes are more elaborate\r\n(and more expensive) than we need.\r\n\r\nWe're aiming for fairly basic medieval or Viking costumes. If you go\r\nsearching, Viking and medieval are great keywords.\r\n\r\nThe basic costume, which will apply to more than half the cast, can be a\r\ntunic with a couple of \"armor\" pieces over it, then we can add a couple\r\nmore pieces to accentuate, like a fur lined cape or a fur shawl. If someone\r\nwanted to get more fancy, chain mail pieces would fit, too.\r\n\r\nThe orcs seem to lean more brown than black. Let's stick as much as we can\r\nwith browns, blacks, some gray. A good combination would be a brown tunic\r\nwith black armor pieces, or a black tunic with brown armor pieces, or a\r\nlighter brown tunic with darker brown pieces. You get the idea.\r\n\r\nDon't worry about pieces matching, and definitely don't worry about\r\nmatching each other. The 6th Horde are scavengers.
